The Actors File is a Co-operative Personal Management agency. Established in 1983, as one of the first co-operatives in Britain it was at the forefront of the changing face of representation. We do our utmost to stay there, remaining very competitive and accessible.

 

Started by 5 actors (Viv and Stephen are still with us!) we now represent around 40 actors covering a wide range. Many producers, directors and casting directors are keen to deal and work with co-operatives and The Actors File is an active member of the Co-operative Personal Managers Association (CPMA). We are often more pro-active and committed performers and have a wide understanding of the way the industry works.

 

Over the years, The Actors File have supplied artists for The National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, Festival Theatre Chichester, The Royal Court, Shakespeare's Globe, and many West End and touring productions, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Casualty, EastEnders, Channel 4 Shorts, A Touch Of Frost, Midsomer Murders, Hetty Wainthrop Investigates, Peaky Blinders, Black Mirror, Silk, endless commercials, both British and International Features...to name but a few.
